This song is about the current situation in the island of St.Lucia and rest of the Caribbean.The unemployment is very low in St.Lucia,which leaves the young and idle no choice but to indulge in criminal activity for betterment,and this often leads to youths being killed,jailed,injured or even homeless.
The politicians do little for the poor,its only when election is near they seem to come around,get the citizens to sign peace treaties and so forth in order to keep their seats.But the problem returns after this so called elections pass,and the peace treaties that were signed a often broken and the war,crime and violence embed the streets again.
I sing this song from experience and hopes it has a positive effect on people out there.
